I am a certified personal trainer with a BS in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University. For the last 16 years, I’ve worked in residential treatment helping those suffering from eating disorders and exercise addiction. I’ve also been a nurse for 40 years and have worked in acute care hospitals in the departments of orthopedics and oncology. My passion is helping those suffering from exercise addiction because I suffered from an exercise addiction and recovered. I know that recovery is possible. A healthy exercise program is one that adds to your life and brings joy, not burden or injury.
